Torquay & Coke is the most famous of the Algra recipes to hit the bars of London and Devon. Various reviews have been made of this drink varying from “Ice Cream in a Glass” to “What the fack is that?”. A Torquay & Coke will make you smile that’s for sure but be warned, if you drink this too early in the evening you may suffer memory loss.
Torquay & Coke is also great for hangover avoidance. It’s a carbonated drink which essentially helps the body to maintain or even increase oxygen levels, thus avoiding hangovers. The downside of the increased oxygen level is the increased risk of spontaneous combustion but it’s a small price to pay. Also if you want fireworks but cannot afford any, you simply light a match and breathe across the flame. Be careful not to aim the resulting fireball at anyone as it could ruin their hair or warm up their beer.
